Loch Plam Golf Club
Conveniently located in the centre of Phuket Island, Loch Palm is just 15 minutes from the major beach resort of Patong and 7 km from Phuket Town making it a popular choice for residents and regular visitors of Phuket alike.
Nestled below a range of mountainous peaks, the course is designed around Crystal Lake, the largest in Phuket covering some 48 acres. Loch Palm has dramatic elevations and drops throughout its layout giving an opportunity for beginners, average players or professional to test their level of skill. At 6,555 yards in length, the course is not as long as some but provides an experience for everyone who loves golf and could be the ideal place to start of your golf holiday. The front nine winds around Crystal Lake until you reach the turn where the back nine tracks up into the mountains. From the tee, fairway landing areas are quite generous but wayward shots will be punished by strategically placed bunkers. With more than 2,000 palm trees lining the fairways, you're treated to the most serene atmosphere along with many challenging hazards and greens.
Complimenting the golf course is the country style clubhouse with ladies and gentleman's locker rooms and a full range of facilities and amenities. Golf carts and rental equipment is also available and practice facilities include driving range, chipping area and putting green. The Pro shop offers a good selection of golf accessories and the lake-side terrace restaurant provides excellent food and refreshments once your round is completed.
Having recently undergone significant renovation the overall course layout, design, and condition now rivals the best Phuket has to offer.
